What Students Are Saying About the Lessons

My daughter started learning from Alexey since 2024 spring. Alexey has been a wonderful teacher and has always made sure that the kids are well prepared for each lesson. Shalini loves his calm way of teaching and has learnt so much from him in this short period of time. She has also won first prize in a International Piano competition under his guidance. She is exploring and learning more in each class. Thank you Alexey!
Mr. Alexey Sychev is my son’s piano teacher. We live in the USA and my son learns online, one on one live lessons. If you watch his videos on YouTube you will know that Mr. Sychev is a gifted pianist! Mr. Sychev is also an amazing piano teacher, he is patient with my son. He adapts to the learning style of my son, tailors lessons to individual needs to bring out the best in his students. My son has now learned some beautiful compositions, and has shown great progress. My son thinks he has the best teacher and looks forward to his piano lessons. We feel that any student will be fortunate to have Mr. Sychev as his/her teacher!
I have had an excellent experience working with Alexey to prep for ABRSM level 8. Alexey is incredibly experienced and really knows how to keep things organized. What I appreciate most is that he strategizes for which exam areas to focus most on given my limited practice time. He also takes detailed notes of my progress and actually arranges which components we’ll review for each session. Plus, Alexey is efficient and teaches well, so I feel like I’m making good progress every time we meet.

I wholeheartedly recommend Alexey as a piano teacher. I took several lessons with him and truly appreciated his teaching style. He has a great ability to adapt the lessons to my individual needs, which made the learning process both effective and enjoyable. Thanks to Alexey, I learned how to read sheet music and significantly improved my hand positioning on the piano. What made the experience even more special was learning through songs I personally love—it made each lesson something to look forward to. If you’re looking for a patient, skilled, and flexible teacher, Alexey is a fantastic choice!
